Luxury Boutique Livery Services at Butlers Hill Farm
Nestled in a beautiful Cotswold valley between Cirencester and Cheltenham, Butlers Hill Farm is a small deluxe livery yard combining fantastic facilities with a bespoke and friendly service.
Joe Chapman has been involved with horses all her life and has kept many horses on livery; it is this experience that led her to create her ‘dream’ livery yard.
From the large individual equipment storage areas to the rug dyers and hot water in the washdown area, every detail has been carefully considered.
Our full livery package includes unlimited use of our facilities, bedding, hay, and of course, the day-to-day care of your equine friend.
As part of our service, we will book your horse in with your preferred farrier and attend their appointment, and we can organise any vet visits required. We also manage the yard's worming schedule to keep all horses in optimum health.
As we live on-site there is always someone around, meaning that morning and evening checks checks are part of the service provided. If you wish your horse to be hacked, schooled or lunged, this can also be arranged at an additional cost.
As we only have 11 stables, it means that the facilities are available to just a few people and our staff have the time to truly make the service as individual as your horse.
FULL LIVERY – From £170 per week
Your horse will have a large airy stable with a deep bed, ad lib hay, and fully attended to 7 days a week, with the yard owner living on-site.
Their day-to-day care will include breakfast and evening feed (hard feed not included in the price), rugs changed, turned out and mucked out, collected from the field, feet picked and washed off, rugs changed, skipped out, ad lib hay provided and water checked and cleaned as necessary.
Worm Counts / Worming will be carried out (additional costs charged to monthly invoice).
In the summer there is a possible option to turn out overnight and bring in during the day, or have 24/7 turnout.
Use of full-size outdoor school with full set of jumps, indoor school with jumping surface and 15m lunge pen.
Hot water washing facilities and rug driers, together with amazing hacking.
Your horse will be loved and cared for and want for nothing!
The agreement does NOT include:

Worm Count Tests
Farrier Bills
Veterinary Bills
Tack Cleaning
Clipping/grooming
Any other alternative treatments e.g. dentist, chiropractor, massage etc.

Butlers Hill Livery Yard has a NO SMOKING policy
We would request the following:
Please provide adequate equipment for the time of year - rugs, flyspray, etc.
Clear up any mess made. Please leave the yard (inside & out) as you found it and empty any wheelbarrows or scoops on the muck trailer - please then spread/fork it up. Hay, hair, sweepings and droppings on the Yard can be emptied into the muck trailer.
Keep all stable doors and gates closed when not in use.
Schools & lunge pen MUST be cleared of droppings and poles/jumps after use.
If last to leave the Yard, please secure and lock the tack room and turn out any lights.
Any injuries, accidents or damage should be reported to the Yard Manager/Head Girl as soon as possible.
Please keep us updated with up-to-date contact details - In the event of an emergency, we will contact next of kin and/or obtain veterinary or farrier assistance.
Well behaved dogs are allowed on the Yard at our discretion.
There is a Pheasant Shoot on the Farm occasionally. We will give advance notice when the dates are known.
