First-class care for your retired horse.
Situated in a beautiful Cotswold valley between Cirencester and Cheltenham, Butlers Hill Farm is a haven for retired horses, whether through old age or injury.
We understand how hard it is to no longer be able ride or look after your horse, and that is why Joe created an environment for retired horses to live out their days in a carefree and loving home - as well as providing some company for her old horse Ralph!
Prices from £40 per week (hay and feed, when needed, at cost)
Our retirement facilities include:
All-year turnout in post and rail paddocks with separate summer and winter fields
Spaces for up to 10 horses in one herd (geldings and mares mixed)
Natural shelter from high hedges and trees as well as large field shelters
Gently sloping land which is good for fitness and drainage
Hard feed in the winter once or twice a day, plus the facility to add medication if necessary
Adlib hay in the winter (when needed)
The checking of the horses at least two times a day, along with rug changing if needed
